  The 2 bedroom suite at 39 Queen's Road was absolutely stellar...completely as impressive as it was listed. Spacious and stylish, it was easy to get to and from in the downtown, it was marvellously accented, super squeaky clean and very quiet and secure. The owner was a breeze to deal with, super friendly and very accommodating...a totally hassle free experience for my first time ever in NL! It is henceforth destined to be my spot when visiting St. John's. Thanks so much folks! :-)

  I have now stayed twice at the property at 29 Queen's Road. The "Bachelor Pad" is beautifully decorated, the full kitchen is wonderful, the deck is private and spacious with gorgeous views. Everything about this property is wonderful -- and I HIGHLY recommend it. I haven't (yet) stayed at their other properties, but I hope to in the future. Steve is a wonderfully nice and personable host, and the entire experience was phenomenal! Will be back again (and again, and again...) :)

  After staying at Downtown Executive Suites, I will never stay in a hotel room in St. John's again. That is as long as I can rebook at Downtown Executive Suites. The place was elegant, spacious, luxurious and tastefully decorated. I loved the exposed brick. And the fireplace. It had a King bed with soft linins. It has all the amenities of your own home , including a washer and dryer. It truly is an amazing place. It was a great romantic get-a-way. And....it was extremely quiet. I though we were the only ones in the building......until I met someone in the hall. I highly recommend it to all.

  An over-all great experience. Steve, the manager, met me at the door and set up my personal code for the main entrance as well as the door to my apartment. Very pleasantly appointed rooms, with old brick covering many walls. Two large flat screens - one in the living room and one in the bedroom. I didn't cook but if I did all the necessary utensils were provided. There are several comfortable chairs in the living room and a dinning table. The bedroom had a King bed that was very comfortable (room 201). In the evening, there was a drummer busker that I could hear playing a few doors down who played rather late, but I had ear plugs that did the trick. Since it's downtown you have some traffic noise. Just something to keep in mind. I rented a car and Steve provided me with a parking pass for a nearby street where I could park for a small daily fee. It's a little tricky unloading. Luckily, I told someone sitting outside Downtown Executive Suites that I would just be unloading and they told the parking officer that I would be right back (otherwise, I may have gotten a ticket). Parking after 6PM or before 6AM isn't a problem, but otherwise you need to park in the designated area with a parking pass or use the meters. If you don't plan to tour the area on your own I would suggest just using a taxi to/from the airport, as needed. I, however, enjoyed visiting Cape Spear, Petty Harbor and several other nearby sights. Definitely beats a hotel. Lots of room, super clean and very comfortable.
